How to succeed with diet and exercise

There is no magical formula to staying healthy. No magic health-shakes and no magic workout. The key to reaching your goals is consistency. If you want to lose weight, eat healthy and stay active for a long time. Its really that simple. Make up your mind that you are going to stop eating like crap and you are going to exercise 4 days of the week. If you do this consistently, you will see results.

Fad diets are a waste of time because of how hard they are to maintain. I find that bulk meal prep is the only way to maintain healthy eating on a budget and with limited time. Set aside a few hours every few weeks to make tons and tons of healthy food, which you then freeze and thaw out for the next few weeks.

This will be a short article, because if you truly make the decision to eat healthy and exercise regularly, you will find ways to make it work. Everyone is busy, even the people you consider to be in great shape. They just made it a priority at some point, to change the way they live and to better themselves. You could be the same exact way. You could be in the same shape they’re in. You just have to make the decision.

If you’ve made the decision to take back your life but are unsure how to start exercising, feel free to contact me. I would love to help you get started. I can tell you that the best thing you can do when starting is to find something that you enjoy, and do that! Start walking in the park for 30 minutes, a few days a week. Don’t want to leave the house? Try cranking up the music and dancing your heart out! Do squats in between commercials. Walk up and down the steps of your house until you feel you’ve gotten a workout. Don’t overthink it. Just get moving and stay moving!
